We are so incredibly luck to live in the Spring River Area! We take boat rides on Tuesdays, float the South Fork on Thursdays after work, and explore trails on Sundays after church. Eddie and I are so thankful that we have the opportunity to work and live in this area. Even if you can just join us for the weekend or a holiday, do it! You will LOVE this area!
This month we made the big decision to make the move to Main Street, Hardy. The opportunity came for us to purchase a property and we felt it would be the best decision for a permanent location for our business. We loved our shop in Cherokee Village at Town Center and we are so grateful for Jonathan and James with American Land Company for giving us the opportunity when we came to them last year. It was the perfect place for us to begin this adventure. Come see us at our new location next to Vanilla Cowgirl on Main Street. The new location is offering us a bigger store front and a lot more storage. We will still offer our rentals that are available to take anywhere along with the great outdoor lines that we've obtained since last year. Thank you for supporting us in Town Center and we look forward to seeing you in downtown Hardy!
We had such a great time hosting the Zac Dunlap Band on Memorial Day Weekend! It was such a great event and we're so thankful that they joined us for the weekend! All of the events for the holiday were top notch and we're always so proud to see the community come together like they do on these occasions. Make sure you make plans to be here for the 4th of July! There will be a pancake breakfast the morning of the 4th and of course Thunder on Thunderbird always brings their A-Game!
I know, I know, Valentine’s Day was like yesterday, we haven’t even had Easter yet, and I want to talk to you about MEMORIAL DAY! Crazy, right? What awesome weather we've had in February. We are betting that the ground hog got it wrong this year. I guess we will see if we get a foot of snow in March, but for now, WE ARE SEEKING ADVENTURE. This weekend was so fun being outside with great friends and exploring the amazing world around us. I've lived in Sharp County my whole life and we are still exploring, finding things I've never seen before. I mean check out that view in the third picture. This amazing weather has us itching for summer to get here.
To wrap this up, I sincerely hope that you and your friends and family found some adventure this past weekend. I hope that you continue to follow us on our journey as Spring kicks off our adventure season. We've got new things coming into both stores everyday and we love sharing it with you. Stop by and see us at our first store in Cherokee Village Town Center and on Main Street in Batesville. We'd love to help you find your adventure!
Pumpkin carving, haunted houses, cooler weather, changing leaves, hot chocolate, candy corn, and family gatherings…. Fall is finally upon us! Fall is by far one of my favorite seasons. Fall is known as a time for change and renewal. The town is absolutely beautiful with all of the changing, colorful leaves on the trees and the weather is the perfect temperature, not too cold and not too hot. My favorite thing to do during this time is to run and change up my routes. There is no better way to experience the changing season than by running through nature. There are so many neat places to run and things to see. Autumn makes exploring worthwhile. I always grab a friend to run with me and we spend time during the run to catch up while we get a good workout in. You don’t even notice how much you have ran when you have good company to make it fun. Fall is also a time to set goals and push you out of your comfort zone. Each time we go out to run, we always try to run a little more than we did the last time. It always makes you feel good to accomplish a goal and surprise yourself with what you are capable of doing if you push yourself! It is a great way to relieve stress, feel good about yourself, and enjoy nature. Then it is always nice to reward yourself with some apple pie, Halloween candy, or a pumpkin spice latte! Those are my favorite fall treats! Make sure to take time out of your busy schedule to enjoy the little things. Fall is also known for Thanksgiving. It is always nice to set out a time to either think about or write down things you are thankful for. My favorite time to do this is while I’m on a run by myself. If it is yucky or raining outside, I love to curl up on the couch with a blanket and watch movies. Hocus Pocus is my personal favorite! Another thing that is fun to do is to cook holiday recipes such as pumpkin pie, apple pie, or pecan pie. You can never go wrong there! I encourage you to use fall to try new things, step out of your comfort zone, and enjoy every little thing life has to offer! My favorite season never disappoints!
We've had the best summer meeting new people and helping people find adventure in our corner of the Ozarks. Thank you to everyone who has stopped in the store and supported our adventure! With that, we'd like to share with you some big announcements! One announcement we make tonight, another we will make probably next week, once things become final. Just know that we are here for the long haul! We have some amazing things planned for our little company and we hope you will continue to join us for the ride!
Wait for it... wait for it...
